Carrots

This recipe has been made by my grandmother and mother and now me. We all love it. Although my daughter claims my carrots are not as good as her grandmothers :).

Ingredients

1 bag of carrots
Cornstarch
butter
sugar
salt
vegetable granulates

Step 1

Peel and cut carrots in pieces

Step 2

Place cut carrots in large pan and
Cover them with water. Not too much. The
water should just be covering the carrots.

Step 3

Add 1 teaspoon salt and 2 tablespoon sugar.
Cover and bring to a boil.

Step 4

Cook until most water is
evaporated. And carrots are tender

Step 5

Mix a little cornstarch with water

Step 6

Stir the cornstarch until smooth.

Step 7

Pour cornstarch into carrots
A little at a time just to thicken the
left over water in the pot and add
a little butter to taste. (maybe a teaspoon or two)

Step 8

Season with vegetable granulates
to taste and serve.

Bon Appetite!!!
