Rolls

I made those a couple of times now. It seems they don't always turn out the same. Sometimes the dough rises real good others not so well. Try for yourself. They taste good :)

Ingredients

1 cup water
2 Tablespoon Butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
31/4 cup bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

You also need a bread machine but
I imagine you can knead the dough
by hand as well. This just makes it easier.

Remove pan from bread machine

crack egg in a bowl and whisk

combine butter, egg, flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
Put pan into bread machine and select dough setting.
Again, if you prefer to knead by had go for it. Make sure you let dough rise.

After bread machine is done. Remove dough.

Divide in about 12 to 16 pieces.

Spray cookie sheet with Pam or grease it with butter.

Place dough pieces onto greased cookie sheet.

Cover and let rise. They should double in size but like I said,
that does not always happen.

After they rose. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for about 12 to 15
minutes

Brush with butter and serve. You don't have to brush with butter
if you do not like it. Up to you :0

1/4 hot water
8 strips bacon
1/2 lemon juiced
cornstarch
1 turkey (12 to 14 pounds)

Cup up cornbread into cubes

Chop sage leaves finely
Chop onions
Combine butter and sage in a mixing bowl. Mash with fork until
well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
In a saute pan melt 4 Tablespoon of the sage butter.
Add the onions and cook for about 15 minutes until they
are soft and golden.
Add onions to cornbread.
Lightly beat the egg.
Add the the heavy cream to the egg mixture and combine.
Add egg mixture to cornbread and onions.Add just enough
chicken stock that the stuffing is moist without making it soggy.
Toss well to combine and season with salt and pepper.
Butter a casserole dish.
Pour stuffing into buttered casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees
until done.
Prepare the turkey.
cut lemon in half
Juice the lemon
Remove the neck and gizzards from the inside of the turkey and
discard. Rinse the bird inside and out and pat dry. Rub onion juice
all over inside and outside of turkey.
Season the turkey with salt and pepper on the outside as well as the
inside.
Using your fingers, gently lift the skin from the breast and legs.
Slip pieces of the sage butter under the skin and massage in.
Place the turkey on a roasting pan and put in the oven.
Bake at 350 degrees. the turkey should take about 3
hours to cook.

Mix the maple syrup with the hot water. Use this to baste the turkey every 30 minutes.

About 2 hours into cooking, drape bacon all over turkey and
continue to bake and baste every 30 Minutes.
Remove turkey from oven when done.

Use drippings to make gravy. Spoon of as much fat as you can.
Mix with water and bring to a boil.

Combine a little cornstarch with water until smooth.

Stir into boiling water until it thickens.
If you need to season it you can do it with salt and pepper
and maybe even some vegetable or chicken bouillon.

Bacon Cheesburger Pasta

This is an easy and fast dish to fix. Reminds me of Hamburger Helper :). If you like Bacon Cheeseburgers you will like this dish.

Ingredients

1 box of pasta
1 1/2 lbs hamburger meat
6 bacon strips
1 can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
2 cups shredded cheese, cheddar

Bring water to a boil and cook pasta
according to directions.

Drain pasta.

 Cut up bacon strips.

Fry Bacon until crispy

Drain all excess fat and set aside.

Brown hamburger meat. Drain excess fat.

Add tomato soup and bacon to browned hamburger
meat.

Add all of the pasta and stir until everything
is well blended. Heat through and remove from heat.

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
If you like you can mix 1/2 of the cheese
with the noodles mix and sprinkle other half on top.
This will make it a little more cheese.

Cover pan  and let sit until cheese is melted.

Serve.

Bon Appetite !!!
