Mancotti

I tried this Italian dish because the name sounded so delicious :). I will definitely try this again. If you love Italian food this is for you.

Ingredients

1 pkg Mancotti shells
1 lbs Italian sausage
1 container Ricotta cheese
1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
2 Tablespoon Parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning.
1 jar of spaghetti sauce

Bring a large pot of water to a boil

Add mancotti shells and cook according to directions.
Don't overcook!

Drain pasta.

Cook Italian sausage until done. Drain excess fat.

In a bowl add ricotta cheese. 1/2 pack of mozzarella cheese
Italian sausage, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.

Mix until everything is blended well.

Grease a casserole dish.
I always use cooking spray.

Stuff manicotti shells with meat mixture
and put into greased casserole dish.

Pour jar of spaghetti sauce over stuffed
manicotti shells. Use your favorite kind. I used a
spicy and zesty sauce and it gave it just that little kick.
Bake uncovered for about 20 to 25 minutes

Remove from oven and
sprinkle rest of mozzarella cheese on top.
return to oven and bake until cheese is melted and
it is heated through.

Serve.
Serve it with some crusty bread and a glass of red wine
and it will take you to Italy :).

Bon Appetite!!!

Kay
