Cajun Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

3 boneless chicken breast, cut in thin stips
2 teaspoon cajun seasoning
1 red and green bell pepper
1 onion
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Cooked pasta, any kind will work
grated parmesan cheese, optional
Step 1

Chop onion.





Step 2


Cut bell pepers, remove the seeds and cut
in thins strips

Step 3


Cut Chicken in thin strips.




Step 4


Put chicken strips in bowl with 2 teaspoon cajun
seasoning and mix well.




Step 5



Melt the butter.



Step 6


Add onions and seasoned chicken.




Step 7



Cook until chicken is almost done and onions are tender.


Step 8


Stir in bell pepper strips. Cook until bell pepper
are tender.


Step 9
Add all of heavy whipping cream and rest of seasonings.
Stir well. Continue cooking until all is heated through.
I like to thicken the gravy. Just mix a little cornstarch with water
and pour into gravy. Make sure you do very little at a time until
it reaches the disered thickness.

Step 10


Serve over cooked noodles.
You can sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
