Christmas Bread

This cake bread reminds me of Christmas. It smells wonderful while baking.

Ingredients

2 Cups Flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted





Combine all dry ingredients together in bowl.




Melt the butter


Add eggs, buttermilk and melted butter to dry
ingredients.






Stir with mixer until very well blended.




Spray pan with cooking spray



Pour batter into pan.
Bake at 350 degrees until skewer inserted in center
comes out clean, about 50 minutes.
Let cool. Serve.

Cool Lemon Pie

Summertime pie!!!
Ingredients

2 cups cold milk
2 pkgs Jello-o lemon flavor instant pudding and pie filling
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 honey maid graham pie crust
1 tub cool whip thawed
2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
2 Tablespoon milk


Pour 2 cups cold milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes
and lemon juice. Beat with wire whisk until well blended.
Mix will be thick.







Pour 1 1/2 cups pudding mix into pie crust.




Add half of cool whip to the remaining pudding mix.
Stir until well blended.




Spread that over the pudding already in the
pie crust.




In a microwave save bowl combine 2 cups marshmallows
and 2 Tablespoon of milk and stir. Microwave on high 1/2
minute or until marshmallows are completely melted. Stir until
very well blended.  Let cool.




Add rest of cool whip to marshmallow cream.
Blend well.


Spread over 2nd layer of pudding in pie crust.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until set. Decorate with remaining
marshmallows before serving if desired.






Serve.

Lemon Pound Cake

My husband just loves this easy to make Lemon Pound cake.

Ingredients

1 Lemon cake mix
1 instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1 1/3 cup water
1/3 cup oil
Powdered sugar
lemon extract
water or milk



Mix cake mix, vanilla pudding mix, eggs,
water and oil.





Mix well.








Pour into greased loaf pan.










Bake at 330 for 40 to 50 min.
Remove from oven and let cool.



In a small bowl mix together powdered sugar,
mild and lemon extract.
Stir until smooth and consistency is OK to
drizzle over the top of the cake. (not to thin)
Remove cake from pan.









Drizzle with icing.
Serve.

Momma J's Eye Cookies

My husband likes these cookies. They are good all year round.

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Raspberry jam

Mix butter sugar and eggs

Add flour, baking powder and salt
Mix until knead until forms. It will be sticky.
Refrigerate overnight.
Sprinkle flour on flat surface and get part of the dough.
Roll flat. Not too thin. You might need to put flour on your
rolling pin or on the dough to prevent sticking.
Cut out shapes. 2 of the same. Cut out in on shape a small whole.
Spread Raspberry jam on the whole shape and place the one with
the hole on top.







Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from cookie sheet and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Snickerdoodles

Very easy to make snickerdooles.

Ingredients

1 package white cake mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Combine cake mix, eggs and oil.
Mix until well blended and dough is formed.
Combine sugar and cinnamon
get little pieces of dough. put into sugar/cinnamon mix.
coat well.
Place coated dough onto cookie sheet. Place cookies
about 2 inches apart. ( you want to
put parchment paper on cookie sheet for easy baking.)






Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool.

Chocolate Bread

This is some very moist cake. You can either make 2 loaves or 1 pound cake.

Ingredients
1 Chocolate Cake mix
1 instant chocolate pudding mix 4 servings
1 1/4 cup water
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
Grease 2 loaf pans








Mix all ingredients until well blended

Divide batter between the 2 pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes
or until done.





Remove form oven. Let cool slightly and
remove from pan. Let cool.
